Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Cattle Dog / Mixed Dog

Juno the Dog needs a home

Hi! I’m Juno and I’m the life of any party! I’m a 5 year old cattle dog and true to my nature I’m at my best when I have a job. I have a tendency to heard (people, dogs, everyone) and can be a bit “mouthy” when I do, so a home with small children may not be best while I am working on my manners. I do well with dogs of all sizes and because of my social nature I would benefit from a similar sized canine companion who also likes to play. I’ve never met a cat but I imagine I’ll just want to play with them too. My foster family thinks most of my time before now was spent outside and I am still getting the hang of being indoors. Hardwood and shiny concrete floors are confusing and I am not sure how to walk on them so I prefer to scoot on my belly! I am house and crate trained but using the dog door has also been a bit confusing, don’t worry though I’m getting the hang of it. True to my breed I am very active, my future home will need to have a fenced yard so I can run off some steam and it’s important that my future family take me for lots of exercise and outdoor adventures. If not I may get a little restless. Speaking of outdoor adventures – my recall is great and I am already doing wonderful off leash! Take me home and you’ll have a loyal, best friend for life!
